Scouter Font Typography

I like typography. It's one of the first things I notice whenever I visit a website or open a new app. I keep note of fonts that I would like to use in the future, but lately, I've had a desire to make my own. In the popular anime Dragon Ball Z, the character Bulma fixes a device known as a scouter (something that scans someone's "power level"). When she scans other characters, a number and the text FIGHT is displayed on the screen. I decided to recreate that font. Well, the English version of it because most depictions actually show an alien language. It isn't necessarily a full-fledged font but something I made for practice. There are no complex bezier curves here, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

First off, the font is all uppercase. Most glyphs are the same width as the "D" shown below; wider letters are the same width as the "H". The diagonal cut on the D is the same angle as the numbers 4 and 7. In terms of cheating (I decided it wasn't gonna be too strict with the guidelines) I freehanded the middle of the "N" and "Z", and the letter F's smaller arm is on its own space. I also had to cheat on the number 4, but the difference is subtle.
Here are some more process shots.
Here is the app I made using the font! I coded the app for iOS with Swift 3. You can download it for iPhone here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scouting-device/id1343623607
